Wood screw WAF A4 is produced in stainless, acid proof steel corrosion class C5, for use in demanding environment like polluted areas and areas with high saline level such as close to coastal areas. The screw has a large head diameter which produces a very high clamping force during installation. The head also has a very low inset height, which can be an advantage during installation. It is equipped with 1 fibre cut in the tip, which gives the screw a low drive in torque an minimizes the risk of splintering.An other benefit is the elimination of the need for predrilling. On screws longer than 70mm, there is an additional fibre cut milling thread directly above the normal thread, this is to facilitate installation of longer and thicker screws. The underside of the screw head is designed so that it fits properly when installed in beams and timber brackets.

ESSVE Wood screw WAF conforms to the CE requirement according to EN 14592. The screw is fitted with Tx-bit drive.
