Threaded rod is used in all common types of installation where a threaded rod is required. The rod can be cut using a hacksaw or another tool into suitable length, remember that the threads can be easily damaged. The bolt has an undersize thread (6az) before hot-dip galvanization and is only compatible with nuts that have normal thread tolerance (6H).
